Hi There.

I am wondering if anyone has any advice surrounding the possible submission of recorded conversations with employee / employer as proof of facts. The employer has already started to back track and cover their short comings in regards to lack of process in redundancy consultations, and although I understand Fair Work do not look favourably upon recorded conversations , if they are used as evidence to prove a legal fact of conversations, how may the Commission view in this instance. Thanks in advance.

Not enough detail to comment. Suggest you see an employment lawyer for advice.

The commission may accept the recording as evidence, and then say you were fairly dismissed for making the recording.

You need advice tailored to your exact circumstances.
