Just before Christmas, I hit a car that was parked in a no standing zone. From what I understand, I may not be at fault for that. But no claim was put in.

Now 4 months on, I receive a visit from the other person who now wants to put in a car insurance claim. Is there a statute of limitations for them to do this?

I don't know what Victoria's time limits are, but you can bet they're in years; not months.
