Thanks for taking the time to respond Sammy.
Contact stopped years ago, by the other parents choice I should add.
Im not after punishment (sadistic torture by way of mental abuse and parental alienation isnt my choice of parenting style anyway.)
I was just curious, i guess the word "obligation" threw me.

no worries, I feel your pain... My ex still sees the kids, tells them stuff, complains about being poor. etc etc.... I would prefer if contact stopped, but the kids love the other parent and for that reason the show must go on... I do think the system is pretty fair though. CSA can only do so much. The system is fair, the ex that finds every way to rort the system isn't fair.
