My brother got a section 10 for assaulting my 100 yr old mother by knocking her unconscious. He's had numerous run-ins with police including having his driver's license revoked for driving while disqualified. The police say section 10s are the bane of their lives. I don't believe the court took into account the fact that my mother was made unconscious by the assault and only considered the fact that she did not require hospitalisation.
Do I have any redress? My mother is deceased now so she cant take any action...
