VIC Purchased Car with Electrical Faults - Where Do I Stand?

I purchased a car in 2014 and it developed a electrical fault which makes the car motor cut out. This happened another 6 times and they still don't know what the problem is. Where do I stand under Australian Consumer Law?

Hi, did you purchase it new? or Second hand? And if second hand, was it from a licensed motor dealer or a private seller?
