I recently purchased an unregistered vehicle with the intention to use for my private use. I paid $500 cash for it. I was advised to have a rego check done on the vehicle so I could get it registered. On completion of the check, it was deemed unworthy dfue to a number of issues ( rear shock absorbers needed replacing, engine mounts to be replaced, seat belt unsafe, roof lining damaged and windscreen wipers to b e replaced). When I enquired about these issues, he claimed that he was unaware of these issues. I asked for a refund which was denied. Is there any legal action that I can take on this matter? Thanks in advance.
