I do not drink at all nor do I use drugs. I have nothing to fear from any legit RBT. I went to the local police to report my neighbour for vandalizing my car (caught him red-handed twice). The police officer behind the counter threatened me that if I did not leave the station immediately I would be charged with high range DUI. I was not tested by any means nor was I asked to take part in any type of breath analysis (I know that refusal to take a test when requested can lead to an automatic high range DUI charge, but at no time was it requested). Can the tabletop machine that is used after you have failed RBT be bodgied so that it looks like you have failed a breath test to add legitimacy to the claim for high range DUI. It is not the only time such threat has been made when I have tried to report something that is reportable.
