I believe this should be placed in the commercial law section - I was wondering on the legalities of the following.

A pays B a fee to set up a new business name under B’s details, ie. “Bruce’s Wholesales”.

B purchases services or items for A, i.e. could be food, lawn mowing, to paint the house, etc.

The reason A does not want to purchase these items himself is that it will show up on his statement as Jim’s Lawn mowing or Ladyfinger Bananas, etc. However the new business name that they have set up will appear as “Bruce’s Wholesales”.

Providing the items and services that B will be purchasing for a are 100% legal and does not deal with anything that is criminal. ie Buying drugs or Liquor for minors, Are there any legal ramifications for A or B?

I think there is no problem, however I just want to clarify.

As long as everything is properly registered and all taxation issues are dealt with properly I don't see an issue.

I'd want to know the reason why the actual suppliers are being concealed.
