QLD Lawyer ethics representing family

A building company owned by two guys closed their doors owing just me approx $40000.00. I have successfully won a court case against them and I have an enforcement hearing coming up. They say there is no money. My question is....their lawyer who has been advising them and even offered to mediate between us, I have found out that she is the partner of one of the guys. She has a different surname then her partner. Is this ethically correct or was there any duty to disclose this? (she actually specialises in minor debts, bankruptcy and winding up proceedings....didnt help her win the last case. The two guys paid themselves $120000.00 each that year before deciding there was no money left for me))

No ethical duty is owed to you.

What I'd do is go after their private assets. There is a possibility you can undo director related transactions but you'd want to move sooner rather than later as there are time limits and an increased chance money will just 'disappear'.
