Is it legal for a store to put a "No liability accepted" sign?

Hoping if someone can help me.

I brought a computer to this shop and didn't notice this sign. My laptop was robbed and now the owner wont take responsibility to get me a new one because they put a dumb sign that's hard to see and read in the corner of the store that's dimly lit. Can I legally take him to court for compensation?

Why did you take the computer to the shop?

If they accepted responsibility for the laptop (you took it for repair), they should pay. It should be covered by their insurance.
