Hi Karen,

Are you referring to an Intervention Order that has already been made? An intervention order remains in effect for life or until revoked by the court. Therefore you will need to make an application to the court to revoke it. I recommend seeking the advice of a lawyer to make such an application on your behalf.

Hi Karen,

I agree with Sophea, you will need to apply to court for the restraining order to be lifted or varied. If there is an application for a restraining order against you, it will need to be heard in court. If the order has not been granted, you will have an opportunity at the hearing to object to the restraining order. The judge will then decide on whether to issue one based on the applicant's arguments and your objections.
