hi,
we have been married for 7 years now and purchased 2 houses during the time of marriage. both of the house do not have my name them, because my husband was in a better financial situation. am i entitle to any capital gain after selling the houses at the time of divoce even if my name was not on the title?

Definitely google the four step family law process. It’s irrelevant whose name is on any title (silly me didn’t know this!)

anything accumulated in the relationship is part of a jointly owned asset pool including his and your super his and your assets his and your cars etc

Then the split is rarely 50/50 because the current and future needs and contributions are considered as well.
