Hi. I have a 16 year old girl who lives with me. She cannot live with her mum as she does not feel safe living in the same house as her mother's boyfriend and she is not prepared to ask him to leave.
The young lady is to travel to europe to cempete in aerobics however her mother refuses to give her permission to do so, nor will she hand her her passport.
Can you please advise of the best legal way we can make this happen? Can I apply to be her guardian? Can she emancipate herself?
We need to move quickly on this as we need to pay for her flights by next wednesday. I would be very grateful for any advice.
