NSW Garnishee Order - Fair to Debit After Statement of Claim Paid?

I have had $225 debited from my pay as a garnishee order. However I was in dispute with this company for their unprofessional behaviour and no actual facts that I still owed them money. I ended up paying the money I owed once the statement of claim was sent to me, but they have now debited me $225 for the legal fees as a garnishee order.

Is this fair?

Did the garnishee order or statement of claim provide that you were liable for the legal fees? Have you called/written back to push back and dispute the cost of the legal fees?
