The time it takes to finalise an estate depends on the nature of the assets contained in the estate, what must be done and where information and documentation must be obtained from. To a large extent it will depend on the executor.

Estates are generally not distributed fully within six months from the time of probate, due to the chance of someone bringing a family provision application. So it more than likely be within 6 and 12 months following probate. Sorry can't be more specific, it depends on the specific circumstances of each case.
