I've been charged with 2 counts of attempt to possess meth through the mail.
There's a third charge of having a pipe which contains meth on it.
The fourth charge is incorrect as it's said to be MDMA when the pills are actually an antidepressant (not prescribed to me).

I did it in a desperate attempt as I was living inannvery isolated place finding my job incredibly difficult.
I've since been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and traits or PTSD and bipolar.

I got a spent conviction 9 years ago for having 2 ecstasy pills at a festival.

What are my chances of receiving another spend conviction. I am a teacher and my job is everything.
I am not being treated for a drug problem however am being treated for mental health issues.

Please help.

I'm a teacher in NSW - so my knowledge is based on that.... SO in NSW you would have an obligation to inform the principal (but you should check with your union) As far as the new child protection mandatory criminal history check. I think you'll be fine. Really, the only convictions they are looking for are convictions that relate to inappropriate behaviour relating to minors.
