I have a question in regard to DHS child protection. The children have been restored into my care and I have parental care of them. DHS has a supervision order in place until November. Due to sale of my home, I have had to move interstate with their consent.

I am asking what jurisdiction do they have in a different state and can they force a drug test after 5 and a half months of doing them and what are the legal protection I can receive for my children not to be removed?

1. DHS is a federal department, so it has jurisdiction in all states and territories.

2. Yes.

3. None.
