NSW Does Current Wife Have to Pay Child Support to Ex?

Hi everyone,

I'm paying child support to my ex-wife. In 2015, I got remarried overseas. My current wife will be in Sydney in a couple of month's time. When she starts working in Sydney, does she have to pay child support to my ex-wife?

Can someone please tell me about child support?

No, the income of partners does not factor into child support - unless it can be successfully claimed that you are diverting income to your partner, such that some of it is really yours.
