i have been separated for 10 months, legal separation has been done with consent orders submitted and approved and for all intents and purposes I am not responsible for her financially or otherwise. I have been told via a phone call she wants a divorce after refusing to even try to make anything work (she walked out and all efforts to fix anything were blocked).

For me however, based on my faith, I do not want to sign divorce papers. Do I have a choice if she files individually?

Not really. Your ex can do everything without your involvement. You will get sent/served papers and it is up to you as to whether you consent or do nothing.

Either way divorce will happen if she pursues the matter.
