This is more manageable than it sounds. If she refuses to engage you can still file a sole divorce application and if she evades service courts regularly grant substituted service by email or social media. On property you can subpoena financial records directly from banks, the ATO and ASIC. Courts draw adverse inferences from non-disclosure so her refusal to engage actually works against her. The $150k in crypto is worth flagging specifically. If she does not attend hearings the court proceeds without her. You need a family lawyer who is methodical about the paper trail and not rattled by the theatre of it.

I know this thread is a bit old, but if you've moved forward, I'd love to hear how things are going with the property settlement. It's a tricky situation, especially with the crypto investment. Did you manage to get any financial disclosure through the court orders? Let us know if there have been any updates!

Jumping in on this older post to suggest checking out online support groups or forums for folks dealing with similar situations. Sharing experiences and advice can be super helpful, especially with the challenges around non-cooperation. Anyone else have thoughts on dealing with a partner like this? It seems vital to stay patient yet firm, focusing on protecting your interests and seeking legal counsel.
