QLD Disqualified Driving - Work Licence?

Hi i was caught driving back in February of this year and i was disqualified from driving for 2 years. I was giving misleading information from Legal Aid Qld saying that i couldn't get a work licence then only be to told from Queensland Transport and Legal Aid Qld about 6 weeks later that i could of applied for a work licence. As this has really put myself and family in real hardship as im the main income provider as i have 4 children under 6 years old. Is there anyway i can get a work licence?.

So if Legal Aid Qld have advised you in the past and have now said that you can apply for a work licence, why aren't they giving you some assistance currently?
