WA Defamation and privacy on social media

Can a third party post on facebook one side of a conversation, at the same time revealing that persons name and mobile number?
Then defame their character by making many accusations (which are out of context because only one side of the text conversation is being revealed and their views of another situation is being told)?
Are there any privacy laws being broke because the personal details have been posted on social media?

Possible defamation, can't see a breach of privacy laws, though likely a breach of the social media account terms and conditions.

Write to the social media site saying your private details have been published without your consent.
