I am a part time employee working roughly 35 hours with no contract and have been working with this employer for 2 years. Recently, the employer cutting my regular hours.
Without notice, the employer advice as from next week my hours will be 20 hours per week. I have written back to the employer asking for a reason of this and also explaining to them that the cut in hours will cause tremendous financial hardship to me and my family. It now been 8 weeks since I wrote to the employer.
I like to asked without a written contract to stipulate my regular hours, can I sue the employer for damages due to the loss of income?
