i recently found out that in certain parts of the united states you can legally take ducks from the park for free, and very much want to do that. Would i be allowed to do so in victoria. My intention would be to keep it as a pet, assuming i were to give it adequate care, do any necessary registration and vaccinations if needed would it be legal?

Buy a Peaking duck. I collect their eggs. You can teach them to come when you call them. I do think you could get into trouble with the police if you just snatch one from the park.

Never apply USA law here. They encourage their citizens to cary guns ffs...
