I have been informed by the Independent Children's Lawyer (ICL) that if a Hearing goes over 4 days, the trial should transfer to the Family Law Court. I can't see this in the Family Law Rules, does anyone know where I can cite this practice?

We are now in day 8, over 3 x 3 day sessions since March 2016. It's the ninth day tomorrow.

Cheers.

It's not a rule, it's discretionary. The presiding judge will determine if the matter needs to be transferred from the Federal Circuit Court to the Family Court of Australia.
