Hi guys,

Ok so I have committed an offence back in New Zealand when I was turning 18. It was committed against someone close to me. We now have grown up after 8 yrs since my offence. Ive apologized and given them closure as to why it happened. Their partner only just found out and has threatened to press charges against me here in Australia. Mind you for an offence that happened in New Zealand. Would this actually be a case here in Australia ?

No - That would be a matter for NZ police to investigate and prosecute in NZ. If there were to be a case, based on what you've said, it wouldn't be heard in Australia.
