Hi guys,

I'm in the district court for an AVO matter and the judge in the proceedings is acting unfairly and is biased.

The matter has not proceeded to hearing yet and we are going to hearing in a week but the judge has acted unfairly.

Can I ask for another court or 3 judges?

Can I do anything to get another judge?

Talk to your lawyer about grounds for an interlocutory application. Must have good grounds to establish bias.

Not liking the Judge's decisions is not a suitable basis for an application.

AVOs and related matters are often dealt with in the Local Court.
what kind of AVO matter finds you in the District Court?
