I have a question in regards lies in an affidavit and the fact that these lies can be proven with documentation. The situation is that my husband's ex has filed her affidavit and there are a number of points in it that are blatant lies which can be proven. Is the next step to prepare a further affidavit with the facts and include all documentation?

We are attending a family report so will the person completing the family report will take into consideration the fact the affidavit has lies in it and will it be looked upon unfavourably given the facts can be proven?

Best hope the family report writer doesn't get too carried away reading evidence and speculating on its validity. That's not their job, after all.

If there are discrepancies in an affidavit, you can file a response that says what you don't agree with and provides your view of the truth. It will also be beneficial to cross-examine the other party on these discrepancies.
