I have an AVO order court next month. Can I get to settle with my partner before court?

How was the AVO matter raised? What do you mean by get settled? Is the AVO getting contested or not contested?

From reading other threads in this forum on such matters, it seems if the police raise the AVO matter, it seems highly unlikely the AVO matter will get settled before court. It seems the police are not keen to change course once such a matter is initiated and let the courts determine it.

No - you can accept without admission. Partner can ask for the conditions to be changed so that you can still live together, but a word of warning. Follow the orders no matter what. If partner says they want you to return and you do and an argument breaks out - things will get very very messy for you. As in jail messy

Don't risk it.
