NSW Avo and incarceration for a separate offence

what happens with an avo when the offender serves time during the avo period for a separate offence? Does the avo just run its course or is the time extended from when the person is released? Thank you

Hi Mandy,
According to the Crimes (Domestic and Personal Violence) Act 2007 its a fix time thing so it would run regardless of incarceration.
