QLD Attend Mediation Without Financial Disclosure Documents?

I have mediation for custody of children and property settlement on Monday. I have just found out that his new lawyer (as of this week) is on leave and he hasn't lodged any financial disclosure documents.

Due to some tricky matters and missing assets, the financial disclosure documents may have a large effect on the outcome of the property settlement. Property pool is $500,000+.

Apparently, it is 50% cancellation cost for the mediator. I am wondering whether to go on Monday or cancel? Lawyer was saying we can still go, but I am pretty sure she doesn't really care, as she gets paid either way.

What's the harm in attending? Is it just the cost of mediation itself?

Well $5000 mediation cost plus the lawyer at @$450 an hour.

In my view, since mediation isn't just for the property settlement, I would still suggest attending to try and whittle out the parenting matter, at least, mainly because any attempt tends to look better than no attempt to resolve the dispute, but it is, of course, entirely up to you.
