VIC Assault - Will I be Able to Come Back to Australia?

I have a court case coming up for assault and assault with a weapon and I have asked for a diversion. I'm a long term resident in Vic and I have a 17-year-old child here. If I go overseas on holiday, will I be able to get back into Australia?

Hi Scotty,

I'm just guessing but assault with a weapon are you currently on bail? If you are on bail you might want to check your bail conditions to make sure you can leave the country. That aside as a Permanent Resident? Your entitlement to return shouldn't be impacted, at least not until there is a conviction.
