Hello,

I purchased my car on the 13th of January. Being overcautious while taking out the new car from the basement car park, I happened to hit the car parked in the visitor car park section which is just opposite to my parking space. After the car accident, I left my number and contact details on the car.

However, it's been over two days, no one called. I am thinking to approach the police for it. However I want to know if it turns out that he was not supposed to be parked there (visitor parking) for an extended time, could I get some benefits of a doubt?

( N. B.:I have taken photos of both the vehicles )

Thanks

Hi Abhradeep.

I would not get the police involved - this is not a matter for the police - it is between you and the owner of the other car. You have done what you were supposed to do.
