Hi all... Any advice on what to do if proving my innocence incriminates me on a completely different and unrelated matter.. some one transfered me some money to buy them illegal drugs . The transaction was done and now they are claiming I stole it from their account without their knowledge. The only way to prove my innocence is to show the text messages between me and the other person but they say it's for drugs and every thing. What should I do

You do not need to show you are innocent. They need to prove you are guilty.

I agree with Rod, you don't need to prove your innocence, there is a presumption of innocence. You said someone transferred you money, so I would be unsure how it might be argued you stole the money?
I thought the same but the bank has still locked my account and won't unlock it even though I've provided more than enough evidence it was legitimate
I’m not quite sure how you will overcome this situation and I not entirely sure providing any kind of advice, comment or opinion would be appropriate since you have readily admitted you planned to use the funds to purchase prohibited drugs. I don’t intend to come across as ‘judgmental’, live and let live I say, but I’m sure you can appreciate the issue. All the best.
