Hi,
Just wondered if my soon to be ex wife, can claim any of my super?
We have no kids & both work full time.
We have been living together for 8 months, after separating 2 years ago.
The marriage isnt working so we are going our separate ways.
She has not contributed as much financially as me as I earn more.
Also, she has refused to pay anything towards Bill's etc.
My bank statements etc, reflect that.
She says I need to pay her half my super.
I'm not sure if this is true & will we need to go to court?
Thank you

Unlikely. You have it, she wants it, she'll have to start court action to get it. That would be the time to see a lawyer about how much is reasonable.

There's not enough detail to know how much, if anything, she would get.

Also consider changing your will and superannuation benefit nominee.
