Hi.
I have been offered a job in another country and have been sent the contract to sign.
Part of the contract is pending a criminal record check.
I have a conviction for a shoplifting offence over 20 years ago.
I am wondering what the procedure is to have this conviction 'spent' or not shown on my criminal record check and how long this may take.
Appreciate any advice.

Easiest way to find out is to do a criminal check upon yourself, It will cost some money (say couple of hundred) but it will be worth the investment.
