Alienated from my kids for 7years in 2015 I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, depressive disorder and anxiety disorder. It took him 7 months to brainwash them with god knows what a phone call simply said don’t pick us up from school we don’t ever want to see u again, I’m sorry but I dropped my bundle I had no support community legal services didn’t do much with family law back then, no friends wasn’t allowed to have any if my own and no family my kids were my family. He had already moved in with the home wrecker he had been seeing for 5 years prior. There phone numbers were changed and completely removed from the internet I couldn’t even look up my sons cricket scores. My children then 17,14 & 11, now 25,20 & 18.
I wouldn’t recognize them if I passed them in the street. When I finally found a lawyer my daughter was 14 there was nothing the courts could do. I used to be a purchasing manager on $80k a year now I live in isolation thinking of the constantly.. flashbacks often and sleep well not much. I am on the disability pension. And he still sits with his 6 figure salary. And yes up until October last year the whole time I never missed my child support obligations. My question is do I have a civil claim? I’m in Victoria he is in Sydney

Unlikely, unless you have rock solid medical evidence proving he caused your condition.

If you have not done a property settlement you should consider applying to court for leave to apply for a settlement.

My evidence is very rock solid property settlement there was nothing just debt..

What’s worse I detailed this on my divorce papers the registrar writes and I quote “the court is not entirely satisfied that the best interests of the children have been Taken into account however we will grant the divorce anyway. Disgusting no duty of care to 3 children who don’t have their mum

Suggest you find a personal injury lawyer asap. I can't remember if there's a 3 yr or 6 yr time limit and if it is 3 yrs you are running out of time.

Sounds familiar, except I got mine back after fighting, damage is done. My daughter is now 18 and intellectually impaired from her father, my 11yr old has nightmares 9years on after, just on the mention of his name.
I see a psych nurse and have pushed through agriphobia, anxiety, depression and PTSD, your not alone, my x had a history, many of us have chatted. I find using the downer times to do art and gardening helps, it's finding your way to heal, so sad, it's devastating you kissed so much time with your babies.

Not the reply you where after but I hope you get closure and justice
