WA Custody of Children - Ex Denying Contact in Breach of Orders?

Hello, my abusive controlling ex partner of 26 years was granted full custody of children - our 8 year old daughter. Final orders said that my ex and I were to come to agreement of when I should have contact being supervised but not restricted to.

However I have not had any contact with my daughter for 7 months...he would not let me see her over Christmas or on her birthday and would not even allow me to speak on phone. He also got her christened a couple of weeks ago with out me even knowing.

He will not respond to my text or phone calls. He is putting his own emotions before the child's and taken away her right to see me. This is definitely not in her best interest as she loves both parents.

Please can you advise me what I should do or what court form should I get. I love my daughter with every fibre of my being and am so worried about her. I just can't believe what has happened with this court case of which I am the respondent.

If you feel he is contravening the orders, you can file a Form 18 together with an affidavit outlining the facts you rely on to prove the contravention. Please note that if he has made a reasonable effort to abide the orders, the court will probably dismiss your application and award costs against you, so ensure the contraventions are very clear and that you have in no way contributed to the issue, such as failing to negotiate contact times in any meaningful way.
