Hi kez

Under QLD law, bail will be refused if the court or police are satisfied of an unacceptable risk that the defendant (accused), if released on bail would endanger the safety/welfare of the victim of the offence with which the accused is charged; or anyone else's safety or welfare. r**e carries a maximum life sentence under QLD law if proven. The courts, in each case, carefully consider specific circumstances on their own merits & grant or refuse bail accordingly.
