Hi, I have decided to dispute a public transport infringement in traffic law court, as I believed I was wrongly fined. However upon receiving my court summons, the charge is 'did not produce a valid ticket'. Advice I have been given is to plead guilty to this charge and ask not to have a criminal conviction. But by pleading guilty, will this now appear as a guilty verdict on my national police check? I have just finished studying to be a teacher and if appears it will definitely hinder my employment prospects (and ability to work overseas). Has anybody had any similar experience?

Thanks
