My wife won't leave home after our separation. It's a pre-owned unit before our marriage. Also got a rental unit which was already purchased before our marriage. It's 1/2 paid for now. If one went on the market and sold it, can she stop me from selling?

Both properties are in my name only. Where do I stand on this under family law?

As your wife, she is entitled to undertake a property settlement for property in which she has a legal interest, including the properties in question. As such, she can apply to have a caveat placed on the properties to stop them from being dealt with legally until her interest in the properties have been determined and settled.

We had a distant relationship and marriage. We waited for twelve months after marriage for the visa then lived together for almost 3 years as a married couple.

Yup, change the locks. She is entitled to very little if anything of your assets
