My son is in jail, his ex is taking to court for full custody, no contact. Current ivo in place until 2025 with no contact. My son and his ex have both been in trouble with drugs etc. I have had kinship care of grandson off and on over past 6 years. His mother has now cleaned up and now blaming my son foe everything they both did. He has done a lot of work on himself and finally has spoken about abuse he suffered as child...which has contributed to his behaviour. He loves his son and has never done anything to hurt him, even though this is being disputed. He cannot get lawyer so is he able to write letter to be read in court in his defence so he can get at least phone calls to his son?
