2 months ago, I had a deduction from the fines enforcement from Adelaide for over 800 Aud for an unspecified speed limit in January 2016...
The thing is that I received the notification from the bank of this deduction while no one ever successfully contacted me since not residing anymore at the old address in Sydney that the car rental agency had on my file at the time of the fine...
Are they allowed to just take 800+ dollars directly from my account without making sure that I was aware of it first under traffic law?
This was after over 3 years from the accident...Is the rental agency responsible?
