Superannuation after separation

I separated from my wife just over 2 years ago. She immediately applied to Centrelink for single parent support even though we were still living under the one roof and I was paying 80% of the bills and the mortgage while she was studying.

We are now settling our finances and her lawyers are targeting my superannuation.

My question is this: Does she have a right to the portion of my superannuation earned over the last 2 years as we were legally separated, she was claiming income assistance via Centre link and she was supposedly not reliant on my income.

Meanwhile telling Centrelink that you think she was scamming is a very bad idea. They will agree. They could say you benefited from the scam and that it is easier to get the $$ from you than her. So let's not go near that one.
