Hello.
I am applying to get a dvo changed . The form to initiate the request asks for the applicant to also sign. Being a dvo the applicant is a policeman .

My questions are :
Does the initial applicant have to sign it ? And if they do have to sign it what happens if that person is not there or away on leave or has left the 'force' ? Can I get it signed via email or postage ?

cheers
Barry

I can only write about VIC law:

Applicant would only sign if the application to vary is by consent. Else you leave that area blank and it goes to a contest to be decided by the Magistrate. Sending via email is fine.
