I am a joint executor with my sibling in Victoria. Probate was granted in January 2018. She has refused to give instructions to our joint probate solicitor to complete the paperwork to have the house and car signed over to me according to our father’s Will. The requests have been made by my personal solicitor. I had temporarily moved into the house to care for my father full-time while continuing to keep a separate residence. She is also refusing to allow expenses incurred by me for the house, i.e. rates, lawn mowing and general maintenance. Her personal solicitor is stating I am responsible for these expenses since the house has been left to me. Is this good cause to have her removed as an executor as she is not doing her duty as an executor and delaying the distribution of assets.
