Hi everyone,

I am currently based in the Northern Territory and while on holidays I received a traffic infringement notice, which I think is unreasonable and I wish to explain my series of events.

Should I undertake a Internal Review or take the matter into court (I am on Centrelink) so I think I could get Legal Aid or can you undertake both?

Please note that I live in Darwin and the matter will be heard in Ballarat.

Thanks in advance.

I would first try an Internal Review.
If unsuccessful you can then elect to go to court but Legal Aid will probably not assist so you need to assess what's best.
