Prescribed forms for power of attorney are given in the regulation, even including broken website links.
- How closely must the prescribed form be followed? For example, can background information, notes for completion, and unused options be omitted?
- Is it reasonable to add an endorsement to the certificate of witness "the document was signed in counterpart and witnessed over audio visual link in accordance with section 14G of the Electronic Transactions Act 2000" even though only one of the parties executing the document was remote?
- Given the above, if a scanned copy of the remotely signed document is executed by the other parties, is the original remotely signed document required?
- Is there any reason signature blocks should be sequential rather than adjacent?
