Today two police came to my door to ask me about “threats” they claim I had sent to my bank. I said what I sent wasn’t a threat.
They said next time they would have to take me in for an interview.
I haven’t been in contact with my former bank for over a month

Are they likely to follow this up or is that verbal warning the end of it?

Except for your name and address, do NOT say anything to them except "I invoke my right to silence. I do not wish to comment or answer any questions at this stage. If I am not under arrest, please leave the premises."

Remember anything you say, or any admissions you make about sending emails can be used as evidence. They have to prove you sent the emails.
