I am writing this on behalf of my partner. He currently pays $150 child support a week and on top of that pays half of the private school fees for his 3 kids which comes to another $100 a week. He does not even want the kids in private school. Plus the costs for when he has the kids which is every second weekend. In total this all comes to $1200 a month. He cannot afford to rent a home so lives at his parents home at the age of 35!. His wage is roughly $800 a week after tax.
The ex wife lives in a large lavish house and pays $600 in rent alone. She will be re married within the next month also.
In the divorce papers he signed she had put that he would pay half the school fees. Unfortunately at the time when he signed the papers he was highly depressed and did not even read the papers properly.
Is there anything that can be done so he does not need to pay the private school fees?
